COMPANY HISTORY

Ludwig Osfolk founded Alumco in 1987. He has over 50 years of foundry experience producing many types of aluminum castings including x-ray quality castings, commercial castings, industrial castings and military/defense castings. His youngest son, Anton, worked for his father every summer during school and then finally joined the family oriented business full time in 2001 after completing his engineering degree.

In 2007, the company had grown to a point where Ludwig and Anton needed help managing the company. The natural choice for the job was Ludwig's oldest son Philip. In the ten years since Philip obtained his engineering degree, he has worked for companies such as Celestica, JDS Uniphase and Vasogen as a manufacturing engineer. Together, the three of them managed Alumco with Ludwig as President, Philip as Vice President, Operations and Anton as Vice President, Sales and Marketing until 2021 when Philip and Anton bought the business from Ludwig. Philip and Anton continue to grow the business with the knowledge they obtained from their father, Ludwig, and the experience they have obtained over the years.
